A website that grows, just like the children it accompanies.

I thought I was opening a shop. I started an adventure.

My name is Morgane, I’m 32, and when I first began imagining Moli & Liv, I had a fairly simple idea in mind: to create a beautiful children’s shop, with products I would genuinely want to choose for the little ones around us.

I thought I would choose my products, build my website, open the shop and begin this new adventure.

Well.

Let’s just say it didn’t happen exactly like that.

And today, I think that is probably one of the best things that could have happened to Moli & Liv.

I wanted to move quickly. I learned to go further.

When you start a project you truly care about, you want everything to happen straight away.

So did I.

I wanted to see Moli & Liv come to life, prepare my first orders, hear your feedback and finally see all this work become real.

But there were setbacks.

Things that didn’t work as planned. Products that required more questions. Research that had to be started again. Solutions that looked simple but, in the end, no longer felt right.

At the time, of course, I would have preferred everything to work first time.

With a little perspective, I understood something:

those obstacles were forcing me to become better.

To research more.

To understand what was really behind a product.

To compare suppliers instead of choosing the easiest solution.

To ask questions.

A lot of questions.

And sometimes even to find myself facing conversations and documents in languages I never imagined I would try to understand a few months earlier.

I simply wanted to create a shop.

In the end, I’m learning how to build a brand.

Moli & Liv is really being built here.

There isn’t a huge team behind Moli & Liv.

There’s a 32-year-old mum, a computer, a huge number of ideas, a few coffees probably forgotten beside the keyboard… and this slightly crazy desire to see how far this adventure can go.

I built this shop little by little.

Its world. Its pages. Its colours. Its collections.

And above all, every day I’m learning to choose more carefully what deserves — or doesn’t deserve — a place in it.

Because over the course of this adventure, the way I see things has changed.

Today, finding a pretty product is no longer enough for me.

I want to understand where it comes from, how it is made, who offers it and whether it truly fits what I want to build with Moli & Liv.

Sometimes that means looking much further than I expected.

And in the end…

I love it.

Choose less. Choose better.

I don’t want Moli & Liv to become a shop with hundreds of products added simply to fill collections.

I’d rather search.

Compare.

Sometimes wait.

And walk away too, when a product ultimately doesn’t meet my expectations.

Because behind the screen, the numbers and the product pages, there is one thing I never forget:

these products will end up in your children’s little hands.

So yes, sometimes it takes a little longer.

But if that time helps build something better, it is absolutely worth it.

You’re arriving right at the beginning.

Perhaps that is the most special part of this story.

Moli & Liv isn’t ten years old.

There aren’t thousands of parcels shipped yet or a huge team to introduce to you.

The story is only just beginning.

The first collections.

The first suppliers.

The first parcels.

The first orders.

The first mistakes too, certainly.

Then the first big wins.

Today, I work from my computer and sometimes speak with people thousands of kilometres away as I try to find exactly what I’m looking for.

Tomorrow?

I don’t know.

Maybe Moli & Liv will grow enough to create its own products.

Maybe one day I’ll take a plane to meet the people I work with on the other side of the world.

And perhaps, in a few years, I’ll read this page again with a smile as I look back at how far we’ve come.

That is also what makes this adventure so exciting.

I still don’t know how far it will go.

But I know why I started it.

Building something I can be proud of.

My ambition for Moli & Liv is ultimately quite simple.

To create a warm, honest brand that feels close to parents.

A brand that researches before it offers.

That can say no to a product.

That learns.

That evolves.

And that never forgets why it exists: to find lovely things that accompany little ones in what they naturally do from their very first day.

Discover. Try. Start again. Grow.

In the end, it’s quite funny.

Because that’s exactly what I’m doing with Moli & Liv too.

So, welcome to the beginning of the story.

If you discover Moli & Liv today, you’re not arriving after everything has been built.

You’re arriving while it’s being built.

And every order, every message, every piece of feedback and every person who chooses to trust us will write a small part of what comes next.

I can’t yet tell you how this story ends.

And that’s probably for the best.

We’re only just getting started.
